Dr. Julie Page, DVM
Veterinarian
A native of the western slope, Dr. Page grew up on a ranch in Meeker, Colorado, and participated in 4-H and Future Farmers of America with livestock animals. Spending most of her youth working with animals, veterinary medicine was a natural career choice. Dr. Page received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 2008. After practicing in a rural, mixed-animal practice for a year, she moved to Grand Junction and has practiced small-animal medicine at Animal Medical Clinic since June 2009. Dr. Page loves preventive care and soft-tissue surgery. She spends her non-veterinary days caring for her two small children, Amelia and Everett, and hopes to enter them in 4-H when they reach participation age. Her hobbies include church activities, hiking, running, playing piano and guitar, and painting. Her pets include an 8-year-old Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix (Chip); a 10-year-old, one-eyed Chihuahua (TD); and a sassy, fat, orange Tabby cat (Milo).
