Julie grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Blacksburg to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Virginia Tech. She later went back to school to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology, so that she could be boarded as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. After going back to school, Julie practiced in specialty and emergency medicine for several years, before joining the Banfield team in Roanoke in 2015. When she is not enjoying the company of all of her patients and team at work, Julie enjoys playing outside with her two dogs, Danger and Soup. They enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors any way they can with adventures both near and far!
