Presidentially Inspired Pets
With over 3,000 pets inspired by presidents past and present, the landslide victory goes to Abraham Lincoln. There are nearly 750 dogs named “Lincoln” after the 16th president, and more than 80 cats. Jimmy Carter comes in second—Banfield data suggests almost 700 dogs and nearly 50 cats share the “Carter” name. Reagan, Truman and Kennedy round out the top five for both cats and dogs.

First Banfield Pet Hospital in District of Columbia
