Alicia Castillo, RVT

Meet Alicia, she is one of our Registered Vet Technician here at Banfield Elk Grove Laguna. She has been an RVT for 3 years and a veterinary Assistant for 12 years. She has been with Banfield for a total of 15 years! Wow! Her favorite part of her job is caring for pets and educating owners to understand treatments and health recommendations. Alicia's best skills at our hospital is remembering pets by their name and their history. She also has great technician skills like performing dental cleanings and radiographs. At home Alicia and her husband have 1 dog and 1 cat who they considered their children. Alicia has always had passion for working with animals from a very young age. Alicia says “I always wanted to help animals since I was a child. They are not able to talk so I feel it's important to advocate for them to have the healthiest long life we can provide. Animals provide us with unconditional love, so it's important we give them the same”. We are glad to have Alicia as part of our team!
