Amanda Fort

As a little girl I always knew that I was going to work with people in a medical setting but it was not till high school where one of my teachers at the time said that being a nurse was not the field I was going to go into . At the time I was working on a farm for the summers helping out with the animals and kids that did summer camp at the farm. The teacher told me that the field that I was going to work in was veterinary to work with farm animals because she said that when I talked about being on the farm I would light up more than even when talking about wanting to work as a maternity nurse . So after viewing all the nursing college my journey began to switch my career to the veterinary field which lead me to go to Becker College and I got my two degrees. After graduating then I applied and got my first job working at Banfield .
