My name is Allan Avila and I am the practice manager for the Banfield in Kissimmee Florida. I have been with Banfield for the last 10 years and began my career as a pet care assistant. A year into me assisting my fellow veterinary assistants I became a veterinary assistant myself. In 3 years I had the opportunity to become a shift lead and helped open the University Centre location in Coral Gables, Florida. 6 months later I became a practice manager and had the pleasure of leading 2 hospitals in Miami before moving to central Florida. I have a dog and a cat who both found me and they are not only my pets by my sidekicks! I knew I loved animals from a very early age and began caring for large farm animals and eventually moved into working with small companion animals. I love working with my team and continuously find ways to deliver excellent for them and their pet parents.
