Veterinarian
Dr. Amy Fertig joined the Banfield team in 2007. She attended Iowa State University and graduated in 2003 with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Fertig enjoys working for Banfield as a Veterinarian and has interests in treating complex medical cases, fluid therapy, and trauma surgery. Dr. Fertig has 3 pets: 2 dogs and 1 cat. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with the local shelter, and riding horses. Dr. Fertig passionately believes in Banfield’s mission — creating a better world for pets — by strengthening the human-animal bond through comprehensive care and clear client education for optimum wellness for pets.
