Carleen Tough, BVMS

Dr. Porter is originally from North Georgia, attending the University of Georgia for her undergraduate degree in animal science (go Dawgs!). Upon graduation, she spent the summer working as a horse wrangler in Grand Teton National Park before jetting across the pond to start veterinary school at the oldest vet school in the world, University of Glasgow in Scotland. She met her Scottish husband while in vet school, got married in the middle of the pandemic, and graduated at the end of the pandemic. Post graduation, she and her husband moved to Colorado Springs to start her veterinary career, joining Banfield Pet Hospital at the end of 2022. In any spare moment of free time, she can be found skiing, climbing up a mountain, or planning the next trip abroad!
