Dr. Deborah Scarborough joined the Banfield team in 2018. She attended North Carolina State University and graduated in 1996 with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Scarborough enjoys working for Banfield as a Veterinarian and has interests in caring for unusual animals (birds, small mammals, reptiles and fish), and training and encouraging staff. Dr. Scarborough has several pets: 2 cats, 1 dog, and a lot of fish. She previously owned a mini macaw and a greencheek conure. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, drawing, painting, reading, watching movies, and outdoor activities. Dr. Scarborough passionately believes in Banfield’s mission — creating a better world for pets — by improving nutrition, husbandry, and easing animal fear and anxiety.
