Originally born on the West Coast, Dr. Leonard grew up in Castle Rock, CO. She earned a degree in zoology at Colorado State University, before graduating as a doctor of veterinary medicine from CSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In the months between her degrees, she interned at the Denver Zoo. Her interests include feline medicine, neonate care/medicine, pain management, exotic pet medicine, and animal enrichment/behavior. In her free time, she is often kept busy fostering kittens.
