Jamie's love for animals has been strong since day one. When she was five, her first cat had to be euthanized, and she knew then that her future would involve taking care of animals to help them live longer and better lives. She grew up with mostly cats, but also had the privilege of owning one fish, one rabbit, and even one dog. She worked at Banfield as a veterinary assistant when she was a student in tech school, and then returned four years later to join the team as a registered veterinary technician.
