Jordan Richards, DVM

Dr. Richards graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, and completed his clinical rotations at the University of Minnesota. He received his bachelor's degree in biological sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior at UC Davis in 2012. He has worked with Banfield since 2008 at both the Folsom and Lincoln hospitals. His special interests include primary care and internal medicine (endocrinology). While he mostly works with cats and dogs, Dr. Richards also enjoys working with small mammals and the occasional reptile. He has one cat named Skittles from St. Kitts and one golden-doodle named Toby. In his free time, he spends time hiking, running, traveling, drinking wine or playing video games with family and friends. His favorite TV shows and movies include: Stranger Things, Marvel movies, The Flash, Ru Paul's Drag Race, Sense8, and Star Wars.
