Jamila McKenzie-Long, DVM

Dr. McKenzie has been with Banfield for about two years. She has three kitties named Stryker, Nutmeg, and Mackenzie (don’t ask!). She has a background with both shelter and emergency medicine, and enjoys sharing her love of pets with all the patients she sees. A child at heart, Dr. McKenzie loves watching superhero movies and riding horses, even though she doesn’t know how to saddle one! She loves family and is originally from Jamaica, where she enjoys visiting. You may hear her singing along to Rihanna and eating anything spicy, both at work or out and about while exploring the growing food scene that Charlotte offers.
