I have an associate degree in zoo animal technology. I was a zookeeper for six years and I mainly worked with fruit bats and flying foxes. Due to that, I came to Banfield already rabies vaccinated. I've also had the privilege to work with venomous and nonvenomous snakes, alligators, tortoises, turtles, sika deer, elephants, zebra, camels, ostriches, tree kangaroos, gibbons, capuchin monkeys, and an array of birds, including birds of prey, and so much more. I worked on a horse farm for almost three years as well. I worked at PetSmart in their special care department and then became a dog trainer for six years. I worked with them for a total of 14 years. I started working at Banfield almost seven years ago. I started in the back running samples and worked my way up to being a tech and I love it.
