Kat Garino, DVM

Dr. Garino originally started with Banfield as a Veterinary Assistant in 2011 while attending Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor's in Animal Physiology and Behavior with a minor in communication. She moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest for veterinary graduate school at Oregon State University and returned to Arizona to be with family after graduating. Dr. Garino is a Fear-Free Certified Veterinarian and has a passion for making the veterinary visit as enjoyable and stress-free as possible for her patients and their family. She has two cats, Greyson and Pikachu, and a green cheek conure named Poco. Dr. Garino enjoys reading sci-fi fantasy novels, cross stitching, and has a secret dream of becoming a Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
