Lauren Sondermann-Houston, RVT
Practice Manager
Lauren has worked in the veterinary industry since 2005, but did a lot of work on farms and working with large animals. She started out in private practice as a receptionist, moved into a veterinary assistant, went to Jefferson College and got her associate in veterinary technology, and then was promoted to lead technician once registered. She then moved on to Brown Mackie College where she taught the veterinary technology program for four and a half years (while obtaining her bachelor's in organizational psychology), before moving back into practice here at Banfield in 2016. She was hired as a registered technician, moved into shift lead, and is now the practice manager. She has two dogs, Duke and Flint, and two cats, Baxter and Annie. In her free time, she likes to doing anything outdoors, including hiking and hunting, and really enjoys working on her Jeep with her husband and son. She is currently certified in the human-animal bond, which promotes her love of the profession and the connection that she provides for her clients and their pets.
