Leland McLaughlin, DVM

Dr. McLaughlin was born in Plainfield, New Jersey. He moved south and attended high school in Greensboro, North Carolina. Remaining in the state, Dr. Mac, as he is often called, attained his bachelor of science in zoology at North Carolina State University. In 1987, he graduated veterinary school at Tuskegee University with his doctor of veterinary medicine. Thereafter, he interned with the University of Tennessee and practiced veterinary medicine in Charlotte and Maryland. Dr. Mac returned to Charlotte where he currently resides with his son, Jeremy, and dog, Sunni. Dr. Mac’s favorite thing about working for Banfield is the commitment to quality medicine, to providing exceptional service to clients, and to supporting associates’ education and growth. When not in the hospital, Dr. Mac can be found playing billiards or cheering on the Carolina Panthers.
