Leah Giovanniello, DVM

Always loving animals, Dr. Giovanniello knew since childhood that she wanted to be a veterinarian. While in school, she worked as a certified veterinary technician until graduation from the inaugural class of the Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her extensive experience includes working general practice, emergency/critical care and at the Phoenix Zoo. As chief of staff, she enjoys promoting a successful veterinary team, coaching veterinarians, and educating owners about how to help their pets thrive. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her particular interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, animal behavior, and exotic animal medicine. She is active in the community, improving the welfare of animals and teaching other veterinary professionals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and their pets (two Chihuahuas named Violet and Buttercup, and two guinea pigs,p named S’mores and Marshmallow) and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.
