Leanne Byers, DVM

Hello! I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I graduated from Dalhousie University with BSc in Biology and the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1994. Following a small animal internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, I started my career in veterinary medicine in the Northwest. I also was in private practice in both Washington and Oregon before joining Banfield in 2012, as I was helping to open and grow Banfield West Linn. My special interest is general practice helping the puppy/kitten live a great quality life into their senior years. I live with my husband, our two children, and our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Lake Oswego. I love volunteering in our community and church, ballroom dancing, painting portraits and paddle boarding.
