Lauren Huber-Greene, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Huber-Greene (Dr. Greene for short) was born in California and grew up in California, Las Vegas, and Southwestern Colorado. She considers herself a “child of the west”. (She also did a two-year “stint” in TX, but we don’t talk about that!) She obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences (her B.S. in B.S., as she likes to call it) from Cal State San Marcos, and after figuring out that she could be a vet despite her cat allergies, she pursued her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. After graduating, Dr. Huber-Greene moved to Connecticut to experience the east coast and be closer to her partner’s family in New York. A family emergency brought them home to Colorado Springs, where they have been since 2020. Her hobbies include backyard bird watching, thrifting, spending time with her dog Ribbit and cat Kidd’n, and trying to keep houseplants alive.
