Marilyn Velasquez, DVM

Dr. Marilyn Velasquez joined the Banfield team in 2018. She attended Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2018 with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Velasquez enjoys working for Banfield as a Veterinarian and has interests in bonding as a work-family/team and discovering ways to help pet parents help their pet children liver their best lives. Dr. Velasquez has 4 pets: 3 cats and 1 rabbit. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and their 3 human children, watching movies, playing board games, going to Renaissance Festivals, and going to Comic Cons. Dr. Velasquez passionately believes in Banfield’s mission — creating a better world for pets — by strengthening the human-animal bond at every chance through initiating quality pet parent education, developing good daily pet care habits, and providing proper medical support through every stage of their lives.
