Misty Hacker

I was born in Richmond, KY and have lived in Brodhead, Ky for ~30 years. I've always known I was going to be in the veterinary medical field and started volunteering at Rockcastle Veterinary Clinic at 16. I have been in this field ever since with my first paying position at Cumberland Valley Animal Hospital in London from 1999-2002. I graduated from LMU in 2001 and have held my license since. I have an 18 year old daughter that is a new student at UK studying laboratory science and research. We enjoy a simple life in the country surrounded by all the creatures. We spend a lot of our spare time going to different nature reserves. I very much enjoy working with the animals and trying to ease their fear and anxiety as best I can while with us. I wouldn't say I'm a animal whisperer, but I'm pretty dang close.
