Dr. Maria Ramirez-Gorton joined the Banfield team in 2010. She attended Kansas State University and graduated with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ramirez-Gorton enjoys working for Banfield as Chief of Staff and has interests in leadership development, quality champion, and client education. Dr. Ramirez-Gorton has many pets: 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 potbellied pig, 6 birds, tropical fish, and chickens. In her free time, she enjoys running, gardening, and being a travel volunteer with Banfield Foundation. Dr. Ramirez-Gorton passionately believes in Banfield’s mission — creating a better world for pets — by helping to increase access to care and education for every client and pet so they can live longer happier lives.
