Suzanne started as a kennel assistant at Hueytown Veterinary Clinic in March of 2008, and soon realized her passion for this profession and pursued her degree. After being awarded "Vet Tech Student of the Year" in 2010, she graduated from Jefferson State Community College and quickly obtained her license. Through hard work, dedication, and long hours, she was awarded “Vet Tech of the Year” in 2012. Suzanne has served on the Alabama Veterinary Technician Association for many years and is a past AVTA president. She is now a licensed veterinary technician at Banfield in Hoover and was again awarded "Vet Tech of the Year" in 2020. She lives with her husband, grandson Daniel, and a menagerie of cats and dogs.
