Stephanie Jones, DVM, cVMA

Dr. Jones, a Nebraska native, completed her undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and then went on to attend Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. After practicing small animal medicine for a number of years, Dr. Jones pursued over 100 hours of continuing education and received her certification in veterinary medical acupuncture from Colorado State University where she earned her cVMA in 2013. She has thoroughly enjoyed integrating this complementary medicine into the care of her patients. Dr. Jones has a passion for helping improve pets’ quality of life using these modalities for a wide variety of conditions. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association and a former member of the Nebraska Academy of Veterinary Medicine, where she served as a board member including past president. Yoga, working out, and Nebraska football are some activities she enjoys along with spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Jones and her family currently have a bearded dragon named Toothless Johnny Pirate Captain Sword Johnny Stakes (AKA Toothless).
