Shequenta Wray, DVM

Dr. Wray is a native of Hampton Roads. She studied at North Carolina State University by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Zoology, receiving University Honors Program recognition. Shortly after completing her undergraduate studies, she started her Doctorate at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests include preventative medicine, veterinary public health, and general surgery and dentistry. Dr. Wray has been a veterinarian with Banfield Pet Hospitals since 2013. Dr. Wray shares her home with a handsome chihuahua mix (Jasper), several fish, and houseplants. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys the natural world, traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends, to name a few. At work, she enjoys being an advocate for your pet's health by partnering with you in their care. Dr. Wray has a special affinity towards chihuahuas and they know it, but loves all dogs big and small.
