Sarah Edford, DVM

Dr. Edford has been with Banfield since 2014 and is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State. Having experienced the power of the human animal bond with two dogs and a cat growing up, she realized early on that veterinary medicine was the career for her. Her goal is to share and protect that bond. No home is complete without a pet and Dr. Edford currently has three. All are rescued cats and two have special needs. Shiro was adopted following a traumatic accident that resulted in the loss of his rear leg. Yuki has a neurologic disease that some people commonly call “wobbly cat syndrome” and Lucifer is an energetic youngster. When Dr. Edford is not herding cats or fostering them, she enjoys travel and photography. She hopes to visit Italy one day to trace her family heritage. She is also a fan of anime and pop culture, often attending associated conventions with friends. Come see Dr. Edford and the team at Rochester Hills.
